pt>p style="font-size:11pt;line-height: 150%"> 与长江三峡紧密相连的巫山小三峡，毗邻巫峡峡口。是大宁河下游龙门峡、巴雾峡、滴翠峡的总称。全长五十公里，是中国重点名胜风景保护区，里面既有山雄水秀、峰奇滩险的自然景色，也有神秘莫测、随处可见的人文景观，素有“中华奇观”、“天下绝景”之美誉。

pt>p style="font-size:11pt;line-height: 150%"> 记者六月三日在巫山龙门码头乘船前往小山峡，这里的水位比三峡蓄水前上涨了近二十米。船行驶在水面平静的龙门峡，年过六旬、在小三峡当了五十年船工的龙飞扬突然指给记者说，“快看，那就是古栈道”。

pt>p style="font-size:11pt;line-height: 150%"> 记者看到在大宁河西岸的岩壁上，有一个个七寸见方、深约尺许、相距五尺左右的方孔就是古栈道遗迹。不过，这些方孔已离水面不远，估计数天后就会难睹真容，永存河底。

pt>p style="font-size:11pt;line-height: 150%"> 据介绍，以大宁河为主的古栈道总长三百余公里，有近七千个石孔，在小三峡地段尤显多而密集，有四千余个。这一栈道历史悠久、保存完整，有史可考至少在公元六十五年之前就已开始修建，直至明代。

pt>p style="font-size:11pt;line-height: 150%"> 龚立说，小三峡古栈道在峡谷西岸的岩壁上，离河面约十五米，如今仅保存一些均匀、规则的石孔。因地势不同，有的地方一行石孔，有的是两行，最险要处有三行。古人就在这些石孔上插木桩，然后在木桩上铺木板，因而在江面上的悬崖边形成栈道。（中新网）
