pt>p style="font-size:11pt;line-height: 150%"> 十三陵位于北京昌平县天寿山下方圆40平方公里的小盆地上，整个陵区葬有明朝的13个皇帝。明孝陵在南京市东郊紫金山南麓独龙阜玩珠峰下，茅山西侧，明朝开国皇帝朱元璋和皇后马氏合葬于此。明清皇家陵寝分布于北京、河北、辽宁、安徽、江苏等地，是中国明清两朝皇帝陵寝建筑群，按照严格的等级规制营建，具有完整的地上、地下建筑体系，布局严谨，规模宏大，建筑华美，工艺精细，体现了中国封建社会最高的丧葬制度。2000年，联合国教科文组织认定其符合世界文化遗产的标准，并将明显陵、清东陵、清西陵作为明清皇家陵寝列入《世界遗产名录》。

pt>p style="font-size:11pt;line-height: 150%"> 联合国教科文组织世界遗产委员会第27届会议6月30日至7月5日在该组织位于巴黎的总部召开，会议主要讨论确定《保护世界文化和自然遗产公约》缔约国申报的希望列入《世界遗产名录》的新项目和扩展项目，讨论列入《濒危世界遗产名录》的项目，以及分析和研究世界遗产保护的现状等。在本届大会上，中国政府申报的是新项目“三江并流”及扩展项目十三陵和明孝陵。2日，该委员会已经决定将位于中国云南省的“三江并流”作为自然景观遗产列入《世界遗产名录》。
